At the beginning of April students had English Week where they had different activities learning English language. 10V students participated in the tricky general knowledge quiz competition. Here are some of the questions that students had:

• What two things that you can never eat for breakfast?
• If you put a white stone into the Red Sea, what would it become?
• Which month has 28 days?
• What goes up but never comes down?
• What do you give a dog that has high temperature?
• What is something that can only elephants make?
• Everyone has it but no one can lose it, what is it?
• Sofia’s father has 5 daughters: Tina, Nina, Karina and Serena. What is the name of the fifth daughter?
• I’m tall when I’m young and I’m short when I’m old. What am I?
• Feed me and I live, yet give me a drink and I die.
• I don’t speak and I can’t hear, but I will always tell the truth. What am I?

Group 5 and group 6 participated in the competition. Group 6 won. Congratulations!

Moreover, students watched first part of the Chronicles of Narnia “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” Also, they read first chapter of the Chronicles of Narnia “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” After reading the chapter, they had to answer some questions in writing. Best answers were given by Kirill Strozkiy.
